A relaxing spot for couples and small families, our two bedrooms can comfortably accommodate four people (one double and two king singles). Our modern, open plan living space includes a well-equipped kitchen, dining and lounge area.

Wi-fi, sound bar, smart tv, games and many books are all provided. Passive design principles ensure you are warm and cosy during your stay. A calming, neutral colour palette reflects the natural elements and connects you to the outdoors. The space is styled with objects collected over many years, including vintage treasures and items handmade by local artists or locally sourced.

For lovers of comfort, soak in our deep bath or unwind with a local wine on the deck after a day spent exploring. Curl up on our leather couches under a woollen rug on cooler nights. Other features include a BBQ, spacious garden and undercover parking. Rinse off after your surf or swim in our outdoor shower. We even have room for your boat or van. The Salt Shack is near Freycinet and Douglas Apsley National Parks, beautiful east coast vineyards, Bicheno Penguin Tours, the Bay of Fires and many other locations and activities the region has to offer.
